FUEGO will observe the western part of the United States from geostationary orbit thus providing continuous 24/7 coverage. The FUEGO telescope will stare at the region of interest with a 2.5°x2.5° field of view and cover the region from the US-Mexico to the US-Canada borders with coverage from the Pacific coast past the Rocky Mountains.
