The team sent Requests for Information to potential industry partners for building the FUEGO instrument and/or the host satellite.

The Requests for Information process is important as this process will let us collect written information about the capabilities of various suppliers. Because we are looking to build this system and make it operational it is crucial that we understand what the different suppliers are capable of building as this will impact various design choices made in the process. This process will allow us to make much better informed tradeoffs with the engineering of the system as well as reduce the overall amount of time and money required to create an operational system.
